Our Company

Building God’s Way Construction, LLC was founded by Joe Morello and Dan Cook as they followed the Lord’s calling in their lives. Joe had previously owned and operated a construction company in Santa Maria, California, where he built Grace Baptist Church as our regional BGW Builder. The experience changed his life. Upon the completion of Grace Baptist in 2004, Joe and his wife Karen moved to Utah.  

BGWC was incorporated in 2005 as a construction solution for Christian organizations within the intermountain west. The Ogden-based design-build, construction management/general contracting (CM/GC) firm serves churches, schools, colleges and non-profits throughout Utah, Wyoming and Montana. 

The company brings more than 70 years of combined design and construction experience to its clients, as well as extensive expertise in the Building God’s Way approach. As the CM/GC firm for regional building projects, BGWC controls all three phases of the construction process (pre-construction, construction, and post construction). Dan has been in the design-build/CM business for 37 years with construction experience within the states of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah. Joe has been in the CM/CG business for 35 years, with construction experience within the states of California, Utah, and Arizona. 

In addition, as part of the BGW Services network, BGWC brings an integrated solution for the growth, fundraising, financing and furnishing of ministry organizations throughout the region. Joe and Dan continue to be blessed with the opportunity to support Christian church and school building programs throughout the region. They share with each client our BGW philosophies of ministry and stewardship... together walking forward in faith.
