He has led the team through the design of nearly 500 ministry facilities, nearly 7 million square feet of cost effective education and worship space nationwide. Dan’s innovation has enabled the company to build high quality and functional religious facilities at 20-30% less than traditional methods.

DON MAHONEY | partner architect
A licensed architect since 1985, Don Mahoney has been recognized with a number of national design awards, including the 2007 WFX Solomon Award for Best Church Design, the 2008 WFX Solomon Award for Best Church Architect and the 2008 LCEF Award for Liturgical Architecture. Don emphasizes the need to maintain a solid design approach in all budget environments the free tools of architecture such as scale, proportion, texture, color and form.

DAVID TYSON | architect
With a Master of Architecture degree from Judson University, David has been an invaluable team player on the BGW Design Team. He works quickly and efficiently to implement the vision of ministry leaders thru architectural drawings and animation. His flexibility and technical expertise has resulted in beautiful, functional and cost-effective designs for minsitries across the country.

AUSTIN FREDRICKSON | designer
Austin Fredrickson was a BGW Design Team member from 2008-2009. He returned to Judson University for his Master of Architecture degree in 2010, with an emphasis in sustainable design. Austin works on site planning, floor plan development, and aesthetic articulation.

JOSH FELIX | phase 3 team leader
Josh Felix supports the partner architects by managing the final design phase. Josh began working as an architectural team leader in 2001, bringing management skill, construction experience and strong design capabilities. As team lead for final design, he currently manages project managers, job captains and drafters to generate AutoCAD based construction documents. Josh has worked with clients on the east and west coasts.

CYNTHIA ARGYLE | project manager
Cynthia came to work for the BGW family shortly after graduating from the University of Utah with her Master Degree in Architecture. She worked in the construction division as a project manager. She has since transferred to the phase 3 team. Cynthia previously worked at a community design center in Salt Lake City, designing accessibility options for seniors.

ADRIAN BEN | project manager
Adrian Ben has been with the BGW design team for ten years. He manages the development of construction documents and has worked on projects across the United States, including NorthCreek Church in Walnut Creek California and Highland Park Community Church in Casper Wyoming.

JAMES MCLAUGHLIN | project manager
James has been a valued BGW design team member since 2003, helping to move projects through to completion, including construction documents, permitting & working with building officials, submittals, including system and product reviews, as well as facilitating construction administration on the jobsite. James has worked on a variety of churches and schools across the United States.
