He served with John Maxwell's INJOY Group for over 10 years, developing and conducting training courses on leadership and fundraising topics. Jerry Twombly has been an expert in fundraising and development for more than 30 years, assisting organizations to raise nearly two billion dollars in capital campaign initiatives. As founder/president of Development Marketing Associates, an international consulting group, he has been committed to assisting churches, colleges, schools and ministries about organizational development since 1985. Jerry currently serves churches and schools nationwide as the Founder of Hearing from God and a Senior Consultant with BGW | Forward in Faith, a distinctively different capital campaign company.

Daniel W. Cook, AIA, NCARB    |    Founder
Dan Cook is the founder of Daniel Cook Architect and the BGW | network of kingdom building services. A practicing architect since 1975, Dan has extensive experience as both an architect and general contractor. In 1998 Dan made the life changing decision to give up his secular architectural work and commit the company to serve Christian ministries nationwide. Since that time, Daniel Cook Architect has designed nearly 12 million square feet of ministry space for Christian organizations nationwide.

David A. Sims, PhD, J.D., MATS    |    Founder
David Sims earned degrees in Business Administration/Finance (1983) and law (1986) from the University of Florida and subsequently earned his masters in theological studies from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando campus) and a doctorate from the University of Durham in Durham, England. David practiced law in central Florida for 13 years prior to joining FamilyLife, providing theological leadership and serving as special assistant to President Dennis Rainey. David currently serves as Founder/President of BGW | Financial and works to provide creative and comprehensive funding solutions for ministries across the country.

Terry L. Bates    |    Founder
Pastor Terry Bates has had the privilege of leading three ministries which have all broken through growth barriers. He has personally pastored an urban church (growth from 35 to 400 people) and a church plant (growth to 1250) prior to accepting his current calling with Faith Tabernacle Church of Oklahoma City (growth from 400 to 1500 people with two satellite churches). During more than 30 years of ministry, he completed several coaching certification programs and has worked with Dr. John Maxwell's Million Leader Mandate in which he was personally involved in training over 250,000 leaders. Terry is the host of the weekly television and radio ministry "Discover Faith" and is a regular host on TBN and a guest of Daystar.
