LifeStation
LifeStation is an outreach ministry of Building God’s Way. Our heart is to serve the community of faith by designing facilities and building ministries for maximum spiritual impact. We strongly believe alternative sources of income and innovative outreach philosophies will continue to drive vibrant youth ministry as we move into the 2010s. LifeStation is an incredible opportunity for churches, schools, and other non-profit organizations to expand their youth ministry and also support community non-profits through shared facilities and programs.

Alternative Income
In the changing world of philanthropy, more and more non-profits are seeking alternative sources of revenue to help supplement annual funding needs. Mission organizations throughout the world are creatively using micro-business to establish a presence and platform to impact others for Jesus Christ. And they “earn their way” along the way – in a manner similar to how the Apostle Paul did as a tent-maker.
LifeStation may be the perfect fit for your church, Christian school, national youth organization, or community non-profit to establish a micro-business that will generate income while providing you maximum exposure to those in your community that are concerned about the very things that are at the heart of your mission.
Micro-business can provide macro-impact. Revenue proceeds of each LifeStation® are distributed in scholarships for students, grants to community non-profits, and to help fund international outreach. In addition, a portion of proceeds from sales will be distributed to community non-profit organizations. Individuals, churches, and businesses supporting the outreach of LifeStation are investing in the lives of young people and the ministry occurring where they live!
LifeStation International will provide support as you secure financing and professional fundraising management consulting services for the construction of a LifeStation® facility in their community. Our team of professionals will work with local personnel in launching funding initiatives designed to engage local Christian business leaders, non-profit organizations, charitable foundations, and the community.
Innovative Outreach
Every aspect of LifeStation is designed to provide opportunities for the young people in the community it serves. Student workers manage LifeStation programs, supported by a network of volunteer corporate consultants. Every student worker has the unique opportunity to earn an educational scholarship and develop business management skills while participating in a weekly small group committed to building Christian character. The creative youth program includes:
-
College preparation, referrals and scholarship programs (based on work hours)
-
Entrepreneurial skill development through management of micro-business
-
Enrollment in small group study on Christian character
-
National and international outreach and missions opportunities
-
Ministry service projects with local non-profit organizations
LifeStation is focused on ministering to the community and the wide range of non-profit ministries that serve it. The benefits to the community include:
-
Fundraising drives at LifeStation Bistro
-
Mentorships developed with adult volunteers
-
Event rental space available to non-profit and corporate partners
The benefits of LifeStation are huge: expanded impact, scholarship aid to teen volunteers, enormous outreach, and increased exposure. We believe LifeStation facilities strategically located throughout the world will become the focal points of local ministry, a way of bringing a community together in the name of God.
