Building God's Way follows His blueprint through the Ministry of Construction—from the Nehemiah account to the major Biblical themes of Prayer, Stewardship, Relationships and Outreach. The Ministry of Construction is a powerful philosophy of action that influences every phase a building project. Building God's Way has challenged ministry leaders to lead by vision, to increase ministry and to build stronger relationships.

BGW encourages clients to focus on ministry growth according to their God-given Vision. Many times this vision for growth results in a new facility or the need for a new facility. But the Building God's Way team doesn't believe the building itself launches the new ministry efforts. Rather, your ministry grows each step of the way while you carry out His Vision. In addition, BGW supports your organization to develop teams, increase outreach efforts and build community rapport that lead to a positive building experience.

The development of Building God's Way was a direct result of the Lord's work in the life of founder Daniel W. Cook, AIA. “We chose Building God's Way as the program name because it reflects the church's opportunity to grow their ministries, their faith and their outreach — and as a side note — their facility space.”

Mission Statement: Building God's Kingdom by Translating the God-Given Ministry Vision of Christian Organizations through High Quality, Cost-Effective Buildings and the Ministry of Construction.

In working toward the founding of a local accredited Christian school for his daughters to attend, Dan was led to be involved full time on the project. He lived his faith as a board member, architect and general contractor for the newly launched Christian Heritage School in Riverdale, Utah.

Dan realized that churches and schools need to be fully equipped for the complex building process. It's the goal of the Building God's Way team to enable your ministry to build the building. Without actual construction, there is no expansion of ministry or jobsite outreach.

The recent completion of the Davis Field House gave the students, faculty and staff of Bob Jones University an opportunity to share Christ with the workers. “Your encouragement and ideas in these areas were truly a blessing in the construction process,” says the Chief Facilities Management Officer. “All of our praise and thanksgiving goes to our Lord Jesus Christ! Without Him we know that this project would not have been possible.”
