The Building God's Way team has worked with 300 Christian organizations nationwide in planning their future facilities according to the needs of the individual ministry. The expertise gained by the BGW team has been extensive. The facility assessment service is designed to draw from this expertise for your future construction.
The facility & planning review evaluates your current facilities and capability for further growth on your campus. This review process also allows your leadership to align with common understanding of facility, capacity and ministry expectations.
The evaluation of your facilities happened through onsite investigation and discussion. The facility assessment is returned along with location-specific planning recommendations. Full architectural design would be developed in the Phase I of the Building God's Way process. When used in conjunction with the FREE BGW Financial Assessment Questionnaire, the assessment is the foundation for your upcoming building program.
first: The assessment begins with a site evaluation visit by a BGW designer. During this visit, the designer meets with key ministry leaders to discuss ministry needs related to the site and the facilities. The visit allows the designer to partner with you in reviewing each ministry of the church (existing and proposed) and discussing how the space needs are best facilitated on the site.
second: The designer returns to BGW headquarters to develop a recommendation from the site meetings. Schematic bubble drawings are developed showing the scale of the options, site utilization and scope of the proposed buildings. The design team advises on code requirements and city planning and zoning issues.
third: The Final Facility & Planning Report is delivered to include these topics:
• Evaluation of your existing structures and building uses
• Review of code requirements and city planning and zoning issues
• Assessment of facilities required to meet your vision for ministry growth
• Site plan recommendation with conceptual drawing
• Recommended next steps for your building project
