Many times a ministry's leadership is not aligned behind one vision—multiple visions may exist. Uncovering these potential areas of strife within the leadership, working to define one vision and then communicating this vision to the membership are critical steps to the success of any new endeavor by a ministry organization. A facilitated discovery process is often needed to make explicit the shared vision emerging within the key leaders of the church.

BGW visioning is process that allows your leadership to conceptualize the essential future ministries of the church. It involves a variety of group exercises and individual processes designed to bring the God-given vision from being ideas in the minds of the participants to being a shared picture of the preferred future. This shared picture of the future becomes the basis for your decision about moving forward into a building campaign.

This consultant-led vision casting session allows your leadership to conceptualize the essential future ministries of the church. The goal of the session is to formalize a shared picture of the ministries' future. The report/recommendations returned from the consultant will include an outline of the vision as defined by the committee during the session.
