BGW Construction recently completed the renovation of a local Utah project, First Presbyterian Church. After a seismic retrofit, former offices and an unfinished gym are now available for expanded ministry: a large fellowship hall is accompanied by a full service kitchen, administrative offices, a new elevator and remodeled restrooms.
Building God’s Way designer Adrian Ben worked with BGW Builder Joe Morello. Joe says the project is an excellent example of the trinity partnership. This historic building posed a few surprises throughout the project, but the church trusted the BGW team to honor their giving with the available funds. The renovation cost, originally estimated at $1,420,000, was reduced by $200,000 even after design changes and unexpected expenses. The Lord worked through Gift in Kind, community alliances and generous hearts to provide miraculous savings... allowing FPC to serve its community more fully.
