Jerry Twombly

Jerry was the founder and president of Development Marketing Associates, an international consulting group committed to assisting churches, colleges, evangelical ministries, and Christian elementary and secondary schools in areas relating to organizational development. He has since merged this company with BGW to establish BGW | Development Group with long-time friend Dan Cook. 

Jerry has been active in managing capital funding campaigns for churches, schools, and ministries; facilitating strategic planning initiatives for non-profits, and in developing cutting edge tools to enable ministries to be more effective in accomplishing their mission objectives.

Since its beginnings in 1985, DMA has successfully worked with over 3,000 evangelical ministries in every state of the United States, five provinces in Canada, and several countries around the world. Jerry’s company DMA has assisted organizations in raising nearly two billion dollars.  

Jerry speaks around the world leading Funding Your Vision and Transforming Culture seminars. He has written several books including:  Funding Your Vision:  New Hope for Non-Profits and The Organizational Planning Primer.  Jerry is a graduate of Miami Bible College and Grace Theological Seminary. He served on the faculty of Word of Life Bible Institute (1970-1973) and on the development staff of Grace College and Theological Seminar (1974-1987) before beginning DMA.  He and his wife Susan reside in Indianapolis, IN.
